Safe + Sound Week Begins August 12th

The U.S Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHA) will be promoting a week-long event recognizing the importance of workplace health and safety for businesses and organizations of all sizes. Safe + Sound Week will begin August 12,2019 and will end August 18,2019.

This is a good opportunity for Texas State Agency’s to educate personnel on the workplace best practices regarding health and safety, as well as recognizing exemplary health and safety practices among your agency. SORM encourages Texas State Agency’s to use this week to develop, review, and share your health and safety programs with other participants’.

Your agency Risk Manager can register your agency here, registering for OSHA’s Safe + Sound Week helps you plan and promote your health and safety programs, develop contacts and resources to assist with your programs, and gives your agency the recognition it deserves.
