
GERALD LADNER, SR., BOARD CHAIR, of Austin, is a semi-retired property & casualty insurance company senior executive. His 42-year career included serving as vice president of Strategic Agent Partnerships and External Affairs, vice president of Sales, and Regional President for State Auto, a new division of Liberty Mutual. He also served as regional vice president for Zenith Insurance Company and Zurich North America. He is an Independent Board Director for Educational and Institutional Insurance Administrators, Inc. and member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas, Insurance Council of Texas, and the InfraGard National Members Alliance, an FBI-affiliated organization dedicated to the strengthening of national security and community resilience. Additionally, he is a Trustee for Rollins College located in Winter Park, Florida. Mr. Ladner received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rollins College. Mr. Ladner will serve on the board with a term set to expire on February 1, 2027.

ELIZABETH “LISA” MACIEJEWSKI-WEST, VICE CHAIR, of Horseshoe Bay, is the owner and founder of Gold Star Medical Business Services. She launched her business in 2006 and has been active in the medical administration field since 1982. She has extensive knowledge of medical billing, medical office administration, and medical compliance.
Ms. Maciejewski-West was appointed to the Board of Directors in September 2023 for a term set to expire February 1, 2029. She previously served as vice chair of the Rehabilitation Council of Texas for two three-year terms, is a current member of the American Academy of Professional Coders and the American Medical Billing Association. Ms. Maciejewski-West received a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Manhattan School of Music and holds certifications as a Medical Coder (CMC), Medical Office Manager (CMOM), and Medical Insurance Specialist (CMIS) by the Practice Management Institute, and a Professional Compliance Officer (CPCO) by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).

HON. RICARDO (RICK) GALINDO, III of San Antonio is a risk analyst for USAA, and previously served as the State Representative of House District 117. He is former president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer of the Risk and Insurance Management Society. During his service in the Texas House of Representatives, he was a member of the Public Education Committee, Mental Health Committee, and the Government Transparency Committee. Additionally, he is a board member of the Archdiocese of San Antonio Catholic Schools and St. Luke Catholic School. Galindo received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Risk Management. He is appointed to serve on the board for a term expiring on February 1, 2025.

JEFF HOUSTON, INTERNAL AUDIT LIAISON, of Dripping Springs, is senior vice president at Mondee Holdings, Inc. in Austin. He is a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Society of Austin and former member of the CFA Society of Chicago. Mr. Houston received a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Philosophy from Indiana University and a Master of Business Administration with a finance concentration from DePaul University and is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He is president of the Terrascena Property Owners Association, a former coach for several Upward Youth Basketball teams, and previous volunteer at Austin Ridge Bible Church. Mr. Houston will serve on the board for a term set to expire on February 1, 2025.
